Taste Trigger Declaration on Responsible Business Conduct

Taste Trigger Limited (Taste Trigger),

Recognizing that responsible business should be conducted with a view to raising standards of living, ensuring equality and dignity of humans, and a large and steadily growing volume of real income and effective demand, while allowing for the optimal use of the world’s resources in accordance with the objective of sustainable development, seeking both to protect and preserve the environment and to enhance the means for doing so in a manner consistent with its respective needs and concerns at different levels of business development,

Being desirous of contributing to these objectives by stating the principles in a declaration, which are inspired by the United Nation (UN) Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), directed to the establishment of responsible business conduct (RBC) in the company,

Resolved, therefore, to foster sustainable development, to develop a transparent, traceable and integrated mode of business, and to strive for a world of peace, equality, no violence, no nuclear weapons and no weapons of mass destruction.

Determined to preserve the basic principles of human right and to further the objectives underlying the sustainable development, 

Declare as follows:

I.           Taste Trigger supports the elimination of poverty and hunger.

II.         Taste Trigger shall strive to provide products which are good for health and well-being.

III.        Taste Trigger supports the provision of quality education. It shall, taking into account its capacity, share its knowledge on coffee, chocolate and tea to public.

IV.        Taste Trigger shall endeavor to provide a working environment to support gender equality, to eliminate discrimination, and to support empowerment of female and the youth.

V.          Water constitutes a majority part of the coffee, chocolate and tea industry, Taste Trigger shall endeavor to conserve clean water for the sake of this and our future generations.

VI.        Taste Trigger shall support a world of peace and non-violence, in particular no tolerance for nuclear weapons and weapons of mass destruction.

VII.       Taste Trigger shall ensure that transparency is the core value of the business operations. All products, to the extent practicable, be traceable of their origins, ingredients and materials.

VIII.     With a view to comply with the international standard of RBC, Taste Trigger shall strictly prohibit any behaviour of bribery and corruption, and shall ensure the compliance with taxation requirement of relevant region where established.
